ROLE PURPOSE:

Support the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team in conducting financial and strategic analysis related to investment opportunities, due diligence, and integration planning. The role involves working across internal functions and external stakeholders to support the evaluation and execution of strategic investments.

Key Accountabilities

Key Activities

  1. Market Research
  • Conduct in-depth industry and competitor analysis to support M&A target identification and strategic planning.
  1. Financial Modelling
  • Assist in building valuation models (DCF, comps, transaction analysis) and support financial due diligence.
  1. Deal Support
  • Participate in transaction execution including preparing investment memos, pitch decks, and presentations.
  1. Data Analysis
  • Analyse company performance metrics, integration progress, and synergies across portfolio companies.
  1. Due Diligence
  • Support end-to-end due diligence by gathering information, reviewing documents, and coordinating stakeholders.
  1. Reporting & Tracking
  • Maintain dashboards, deal trackers, and performance reports to ensure timely updates to leadership.
  1. Stakeholder Coordination
  • Liaise with internal departments (finance, legal, strategy) and external advisors to support transaction flow.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 0–2 years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with valuation methodologies and financial statements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
