Assistant Manager Job

ROLE PURPOSE

The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization’s perspective.

To support the protection of Elm’s digital assets by overseeing cybersecurity operations and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) activities. This role is responsible for conducting risk assessments, implementing security protocols, monitoring for threats, and managing incident responses, while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations, data privacy standards, and internal governance frameworks.

Key Activities

1. Cybersecurity Risk Oversight

• Lead the execution of risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities across systems and infrastructure.
• Guide monitoring activities to ensure early detection of cyber threats.

2. Security Protocol Implementation & Response

• Coordinate the implementation of security controls and protocols in alignment with policies.
• Lead the initial response and support investigations during cybersecurity incidents.

3. GRC Alignment and Compliance Support

• Oversee the application of cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
• Ensure alignment with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit recommendations.

4. Security Awareness & Policy Enablement

• Lead awareness initiatives to promote adherence to cybersecurity policies.
• Support the development and enforcement of security procedures across departments.
