ROLE PURPOSE

The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization’s perspective.

The role exists to contribute to the delivery of consulting and strategic services by supporting project planning, execution, client engagement, analysis, reporting, and evaluation activities. The role contributes to Elm’s objectives by helping project teams deliver high-quality consulting outputs, identify business challenges, support client requirements, and ensure assigned work is completed in alignment with Elm’s policies, procedures, and organizational goals.

Key Accountabilities

Key Activities

  1. Project Delivery Support

Support project teams in engaging with clients to understand their business needs and requirements.
Analyze client inputs and contribute to identifying business challenges, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Deliver assigned project activities in coordination with team members and according to agreed timelines.

  1. Project Planning and Coordination

Support project planning, execution, and management activities within the assigned scope.
Contribute to preparing work plans, timelines, meeting materials, and project documentation.
Coordinate with project team members to follow up on assigned tasks, dependencies, and required inputs.

  1. Project Execution and Control

Monitor assigned project activities to support timely execution and quality delivery.
Participate with team members in delivering consultancy work to a high standard and within approved scope.
Identify potential roadblocks or delays and escalate them to project leadership when needed.

  1. Client Engagement and Workshops

Participate in client meetings and workshops to gather inputs, clarify requirements, and document outcomes.
Support the preparation of discussion materials, meeting agendas, and workshop summaries.
Maintain professional interaction with clients to support effective communication and collaboration.

  1. Client Relations Management

Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients within the assigned scope.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify challenges and opportunities for improvement.
Support client satisfaction by responding to needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  1. Analysis and Recommendation Support

Conduct basic analysis to support project findings, recommendations, and decision-making.
Contribute to identifying improvement opportunities based on client needs, project data, and stakeholder inputs.
Prepare structured inputs that support the development of consulting recommendations and deliverables.

  1. Presentations and Communication Materials

Design and prepare clear presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project progress.
Support the preparation of reports, summaries, dashboards, and other project communication materials.
Ensure project materials are accurate, organized, and aligned with client and management expectations.

  1. Project Evaluation and Reporting

Support project evaluations to assess outcomes, lessons learned, and improvement opportunities.
Prepare project reports including progress updates, key metrics, achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
Present or support presenting project status and outputs to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

  1. Policies, Processes & Procedures

Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

  1. Information Security

Comply with all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

 

 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Academic and professional qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, Management, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
Professional certifications in consulting, project management, business analysis, or related fields are preferred.

Years and Nature of Experience

2–4 years of relevant experience in consulting, project support, business analysis, service delivery, or a related industry.
Experience in supporting project execution, client engagement, preparing reports and presentations, conducting analysis, and coordinating with stakeholders.
