ROLE PURPOSE

The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization’s perspective.

To support business analysis activities for Commercial System by gathering, documenting, validating, and maintaining business requirements, assisting in current and future state analysis, and contributing to solution design options that support business objectives and stakeholder needs, in line with Elm's policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

Key Activities

  1. Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring
  • Support the preparation of business analysis activities, methods, and related work plans in line with the required scope and level of formality.
  • Assist in identifying relevant stakeholders and maintaining effective working relationships with them.
  • Maintain business analysis tools, repositories, and information storage to ensure accessibility and proper documentation.
  1. Requirements Elicitation & Validation
  • Prepare for requirements elicitation sessions by coordinating required logistics, inputs, and stakeholder participation.
  • Gather business requirements from stakeholders and check collected information for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Validate requirements with relevant stakeholders to support shared understanding and formal agreement.
  1. Requirements Documentation & Management
  • Document business requirements using formal and informal documentation methods as appropriate.
  • Maintain requirement records, approvals, and related supporting materials throughout the requirements lifecycle.
  • Support the reuse of requirements and related information across relevant solutions when applicable.
  1. Current & Future State Analysis
  • Participate in analyzing current and future states considering capabilities, processes, technology, infrastructure, and applicable policies.
  • Support the identification of gaps, transition needs, and required changes to reach the desired future state.
  • Assist in analyzing related risks and potential impacts on business operations and stakeholders.
  1. Solution Design Support
  • Contribute to defining and reviewing solution requirements to ensure alignment with business needs and quality standards.
  • Elaborate requirements using required modelling techniques, diagrams, and analysis methods.
  • Coordinate with technical and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and support solution understanding.
  1. Options Assessment & Recommendation
  • Participate in identifying and representing design options that improve business outcomes and support the desired future state.
  • Support the assessment of potential value, feasibility, and alignment of available design options.
  • Communicate feedback and register required enhancements based on solution reviews or functional demonstrations.
  1. Requirements Lifecycle Assurance
  • Maintain requirements accuracy, consistency, and traceability throughout the requirements lifecycle.
  • Support prioritization of requirements based on stakeholder needs, business value, and interdependencies.
  • Assist in ensuring requirements and designs are properly defined, verified, and aligned with approved quality standards.
  1. Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to follow up on pending clarifications, approvals, and required actions.
  • Prepare clear updates and summaries related to requirements, analysis outcomes, and identified gaps.
  • Ensure business analysis information is communicated in a clear and structured manner to relevant stakeholders.
  1. Policies, Processes & Procedures
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  1. Information Security
  • Comply with all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Academic and professional qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Years and Nature of Experience

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in business analysis, requirements management, systems analysis, or a related field.
