Key Activities

  1. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
  • Identify new market opportunities and assess potential risks and challenges.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive advantages.
  • Evaluate competitor strategies, strengths, and weaknesses to inform the company's positioning and differentiation.
  • Formulate clear and actionable market entry and expansion plans, evaluate risks, and create contingency plans to mitigate potential challenges.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on competitive strategies and market dynamics
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies, adjusting as needed.
  1. Relationship Management
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, industry influencers, and government agencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective relationship management and client satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to clients, understanding their needs and providing innovative solutions.
  1. Financial and Technical Evaluation
  • Conduct financial analysis and evaluation of business opportunities, including revenue projections, return on investment, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with finance and executive teams in budgeting and resource allocation for business development initiatives.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to facilitate smooth collaboration.
  • Collaborate with internal technical experts to evaluate the feasibility of meeting client requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Assess the level of customization required for technical solutions and estimate associated costs.
  1. Sales and Revenue Growth
  • Analyse existing client portfolios to identify upsell opportunities.
  • Utilize effective negotiation tactics to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on potential clients before negotiations.
  • Develop technical documentation and collateral to support sales efforts.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Academic and professional qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or IT related field

 

Years and Nature of Experience

  • 4-5 Years of relevant experience in Business Development
