ROLE PURPOSE

The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization’s perspective.

To support the governance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of technology performance across Elm by developing KPI frameworks, integrating enterprise technology data, designing executive dashboards, conducting benchmarking studies, and implementing automation and AI-enabled analytics capabilities. The role contributes to enhancing operational efficiency, improving reporting quality, enabling data-driven decision-making, and strengthening performance visibility across technology functions.

Key Accountabilities

Key Activities

1.  Technology KPI Framework Management

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the Technology KPI Framework in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Establish KPI definitions, measurement methodologies, targets, and governance standards.
• Monitor KPI performance and ensure consistency across technology functions.
• Support periodic reviews and updates of technology performance indicators.

2.  Technology Performance Monitoring & Analysis

• Monitor technology performance metrics and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze operational performance data and provide actionable performance insights.
• Conduct root cause analysis for performance deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Support management in evaluating technology performance against established targets.

3.  Executive Dashboard Development

• Design, develop, and maintain executive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or related reporting tools.
• Ensure dashboards provide accurate, meaningful, and timely performance insights.
• Develop interactive visualizations that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Continuously improve dashboard usability and reporting effectiveness.

4.  Data Integration & Performance Intelligence

• Integrate data from enterprise systems, databases, APIs, and data warehouse platforms.
• Validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across reporting environments.
• Support the development of technology performance data models and reporting structures.
• Improve accessibility and availability of performance information across technology functions.

5.  Benchmarking & Best Practice Analysis

• Conduct benchmarking studies against industry standards and technology performance best practices.
• Analyze benchmarking results and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the implementation of recommendations that enhance technology performance maturity.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging performance management practices.

6.  Performance Governance & Data Quality Management

• Ensure KPI governance processes are effectively implemented and maintained.
• Monitor reporting quality and data integrity across technology performance reporting.
• Establish controls to improve performance reporting accuracy and reliability.
• Support governance reviews and performance assurance activities.

7.  Continuous Improvement Initiatives

• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing technology efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify process optimization opportunities using performance insights and operational analysis.
• Track improvement initiatives and monitor realization of expected benefits.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement across technology functions..

8.  Automation, AI & Advanced Analytics Enablement

• Design and implement automation workflows using platforms such as Power Automate, n8n, UiPath, or equivalent tools.
• Support adoption of AI-enabled analytics, predictive reporting, and intelligent performance monitoring capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and performance management activities.
• Develop advanced analytical insights that support proactive decision-making.

9.  Policies, Processes & Procedures

• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

10.  Information Security

• Comply with all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Academic and
professional qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL® 4 Foundation, Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), Tableau Certified Data Analyst, or Certified KPI Professional are preferred.
• Certifications in Automation Platforms (Power Automate, n8n, UiPath), COBIT Foundation, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Benchmarking, or Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) are desirable.

Years and Nature of
Experience

•  3–5 years of experience in Technology Performance Management, KPI Management, Reporting & Analytics, Data Intelligence, Dashboard Development, IT Governance, or related disciplines.
