Senior Engineer - Dev. Ops. Engineering Job

ROLE PURPOSE

The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization’s perspective.

To streamline and support Elm’s software delivery lifecycle by implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and maintaining stable production environments. This role ensures efficient collaboration between development and operations teams while providing technical support and monitoring to enable fast, secure, and reliable software delivery.

Key Accountabilities

Key Activities

1. CI/CD Pipeline Implementation and Maintenance

• Develop, configure, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes for faster release cycles.

2. Infrastructure as Code and Automation

• Implement infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Maintain and improve deployment scripts and environment provisioning workflows.

3. Production Environment Monitoring & Support

• Monitor application performance and system health in production environments.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot deployment issues, and ensure system stability.

4. Collaboration with Development & Ops Teams

• Work closely with developers and operations teams to support seamless software delivery.
• Ensure alignment between development needs and operational requirements

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Academic and professional qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification is preferably

Years and Nature of Experience

• 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in a related industry
