ROLE PURPOSE

The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization’s perspective.

To provide specialized product management expertise for logistics and air services by shaping product direction, improving product governance, assessing product performance and value, and coordinating strategic enhancements that support customer needs, business priorities, and Elm's policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

Key Activities

  1. Product Strategy & Direction
  • Develop and refine product direction for logistics and air services in alignment with business objectives, market needs, and approved priorities.
  • Assess product opportunities, value drivers, and enhancement themes to support sustainable product growth and service relevance.
  • Provide product management expertise to shape product decisions and strengthen alignment with strategic objectives.
  1. Portfolio & Product Prioritization
  • Evaluate product initiatives, enhancement requests, and roadmap items based on customer value, business impact, risk, and feasibility.
  • Recommend prioritization approaches that support effective allocation of capacity and better product outcomes.
  • Maintain visibility of key product dependencies, decisions, and trade-offs across relevant stakeholders.
  1. Product Requirements & Solution Alignment
  • Review and validate high-level product requirements to ensure they reflect business needs and target outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment between product requirements, user experience, operational requirements, and technical feasibility.
  • Provide input on product scope, acceptance criteria, and solution options to support fit-for-purpose delivery.
  1. Product Governance & Standards
  • Define and improve product management practices, documentation standards, and governance mechanisms for related products.
  • Ensure product decisions, enhancements, and approvals are documented in accordance with approved governance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product governance, product lifecycle practices, and cross-functional ways of working.
  1. Stakeholder & Partner Management
  • Manage product-related alignment with internal and external stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of priorities and outcomes.
  • Facilitate product discussions, decision inputs, and escalation points with relevant business, technical, and operational teams.
  • Maintain effective communication on product direction, performance, risks, and required actions.
  1. Product Performance & Value Realization
  • Review product performance, service indicators, adoption trends, customer feedback, and financial inputs to assess product health.
  • Identify value realization gaps and recommend actions to improve product performance and business impact.
  • Prepare insights and executive-level updates to support product performance discussions and decision making.
  1. Customer Experience & Service Improvement
  • Assess customer experience insights, service feedback, and operational pain points related to logistics and air services products.
  • Recommend product enhancements that improve usability, service quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure improvement opportunities are translated into actionable product enhancements.
  1. Product Risk & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify product risks, dependencies, and operational impacts that may affect delivery, adoption, or value realization.
  • Recommend mitigation actions and improvement opportunities to strengthen product stability and performance.
  • Institutionalize lessons learned and best practices to improve product management maturity and outcomes.
  1. Policies, Processes & Procedures
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

  • Comply with all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Academic and professional qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in product management, agile, or related disciplines is preferred.

Years and Nature of Experience

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in product management, product strategy, digital services, product performance, or related fields.
